Position Overview:

Sohail Smart Solutions, a training and consultancy company based in the UAE and licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), is seeking a motivated Robotics Design Intern to assist in the development of sample robotic kits aimed at children. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of mechatronics, along with hands-on experience in SolidWorks or AutoCAD. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to gain practical experience in the field of robotics and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of educational robotic kits for kids.
• Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Work with the engineering team to ensure designs meet functional and safety standards.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with innovative and engaging robotic designs.
• Assist in the assembly and testing of prototype robotic kits.
• Document design processes and provide regular progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of mechatronics principles.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with a passion for designing educational tools.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Previous experience with robotics or similar projects is a plus.
