We are hiring a Robotics Researcher We are seeking highly qualified and experienced Robotics Researcher for our Institution. :
As a Robotics Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in the field of robotics, with a focus on specific area of focus, e.g., autonomous navigation, human-robot interaction, artificial intelligence, machine learning in robotics, etc..
You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions, contribute to the design and implementation of experimental setups, and publish research findings in top-tier journals and conferences.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research in robotics, including theoretical analysis, algorithm development, and experimental validation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex challenges in robotics and automation.
Develop and implement novel algorithms and methodologies to advance the state-of-the-art in robotics.
Design and conduct experiments using robotic platforms and simulation environments.
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present work at conferences and workshops.
Mentor graduate students and supervise research projects related to robotics.
Participate in grant writing and fundraising efforts to secure external funding for research initiatives.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in robotics and related fields, and contribute to the intellectual environment of the research group.
Qualifications:
PhD degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record of research excellence in robotics, demonstrated through publications in top-tier conferences and journals.
Expertise in [specific areas of robotics, e.g., motion planning, perception, manipulation, etc.].
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in robotics research, such as Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or ROS.
Strong mathematical background, including proficiency in linear algebra, calculus, and probability theory.
Experience with robotic hardware and software platforms, such as ROS, Gazebo, URDF, etc.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and present research findings clearly and concisely.
Prior experience in mentoring graduate students and supervising research projects is desirable.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment, with a commitment to advancing the field of robotics through innovation and excellence.
