The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Road Safety Coordinator to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector in Abu Dhabi. In this vital role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing road safety policies and practices to ensure the safety of staff and equipment on the roads. Your expertise will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety within a fast-paced environment while minimizing risks associated with road travel. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement road safety policies and programs in alignment with industry standards and local regulations. - Conduct regular risk assessments and audits related to road safety practices and traffic management. - Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with road safety requirements and to promote a safety-first culture. - Provide training and resources to employees on safe driving practices and emergency response procedures. - Monitor road safety incidents and trends, preparing report analyses and recommendations for continuous improvement. - Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and stakeholders to enhance road safety measures and initiatives. - Advise on the selection and maintenance of vehicles to ensure they meet safety regulations and standards.



Requirements

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in any discipline. - Minimum of 6-8 years' experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector. - ADNOC Approval is added advantage. - Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and safety management systems. - Should hold HSE Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, and should have knowledge in IVMS Software. -Should have good knowledge in ADNOC requirements, procedures in terms of Road Safety. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and engage with diverse stakeholders. - Proficient in data analysis and reporting. - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
