and Responsibilities:

Design production, collaborating with other engineers,



Performs work as per desired quality, in allocated time and with little supervision.



Ability to performs all the tasks necessary to complete design of road projects



Ability to produce all road design related drawings for each design stage



Liaise with CAD team, support and review the drawing production



Preparation of all type design drawings such as road geometry, signing and marking, ancillary works of major urban and inter-urban road projects, grade separated interchanges, and local/urban streets,



Investigation of alternatives, route selection and preparation of the main items of bill quantities.



Work coactively with the design team, collaborate closely with sub-consultants and liaising with clients ensuring their satisfaction.



Coordinates and communicates with the different disciplines



Understands and applies applicable design standards and methods.



Knowledge in the design aspects of interchanges/roundabouts and signalized junctions both horizontally and vertically, and the development of site grading.



Design of road cross-sections and generating earthwork quantities from the 3D model.



Understanding of Pavement design and pavement design reports.



Be able to prepare the required presentations to client using PowerPoint or any other applicable software.



Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in the UAE, KSA and other GCC countries working on public and private sector projects



Experience of design development in consultancy background for diverse range of road projects such as road network, interchanges, high-speed roads, hilly area roads, land development/grading, urban streets and master planning of roads.



Knowledge with the local authority procedure, standards, and regulations in GCC is essential.



Expertise in Civil 3D, familiarity with Navisworks and Infra works



Capability of designing road layout, site grading, cross-sections, corridor modelling and estimating quantities



Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills.



Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering. Masters degree will be added advantage.
