DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a Risk Manager to join the Regulatory Intelligence, Safety, and Compliance (RISC) team. The RISC team has a charter to protect customers from products that are unsafe, illegal, illegally marketed, controversial or otherwise in violation of Amazon\'s policies while enabling our Selling Partners (SPs) to offer their broadest selection of safe and compliant products. RISC team creates innovative, scalable, and robust compliance solutions by defining, aligning, and implementing strategies across business stakeholders, legal teams, and internal compliance teams, and leveraging new and existing tools and workflows to drive compliance..This role will primarily focus on investigating, identifying and implementing innovative solutions to mitigate risk causing harm to our customers, brands or sellers worldwide.Key job responsibilities In this role you will:
Define operational strategies for intricate business and program needs, incorporating inputs and driving alignment across multiple orgs
Manage the delivery of complex initiatives across various teams, components of which include data analysis, operationalizing and scaling new processes, and catalog classification
Develop and maintain metrics and reporting to monitor risks, program health, and initiative progress
About the team The RISC - Product Safety & Compliance team in MEA works to ensure that all products offered in UAE, KSA & EGY are safe for our customers, compliant with all product safety legal requirements, and meet consumer expectations. It does that by bringing product/risk science and technical expertise together with technology solutions to serve the Amazon business. Our vision for Product Safety & Compliance is to support Amazon\'s mission of offering the widest selection of products available, while protecting customers from potential unsafe & non-compliant products. We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to set standards, develop and implement assessment programs and partner with retail, market place and operations and teams to achieve compliance.
