Position Summary: The Commodity Hedging Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing hedging strategies to mitigate risk associated with commodity price fluctuations. This role requires strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze market trends and data to inform hedging strategies for commodities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor hedging programs using derivatives and other financial instruments.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to assess risk exposure and optimize commodity purchasing.
• Prepare and present reports on hedging performance and market conditions to senior management.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes, market developments, and economic indicators affecting commodity prices.
• Assist in the development of risk management policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in commodity trading, risk management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of commodity markets, derivatives, and hedging strategies.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with risk management software and trading platforms.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks affecting commodity markets.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
