Job Description

• Perform a thorough check of the entire Tethered Helium Balloon System as per the Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual checklist.
• Closely monitor operator's dashboard focusing on key parameters like weather forecasts, helium loss, etc. and report any inconsistencies to the site manager.
• Responsible for supervising, monitoring, and attending the balloon ride, including boarding, and securing passengers, starting rides, and ensuring passengers exit safely.
• Ensure an appropriate number of people can get on the ride and prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Operate Ride strictly in accordance with defined procedures, flag any inconsistencies.
• Support Site Manager in performing requisite tests to ensure safety & security of guests.
• Ensure children are of the appropriate height and age for rides.
• Explain safety procedures to guests.
• Stop ride and de-board passengers in case of emergencies.
• Help patrons enter and exit the ride. Provide special care to the guests with determination during on-boarding & de-boarding.
• Be responsible for maintaining hygienic environment around the ride.
• Keep an eye on patrons and their movements to ensure they are not in any danger.
• Remove disorderly, obnoxious, or sick people from rides.
• Enforce all safety regulations and stay current with safety rules and procedures.
• Perform assigned responsibilities during the evacuation of the ride and/or the venue.
• Ensure proper sanitization at the end of each ride.
• Satisfactorily complete reports required like operational data log, etc.
• Report all incidents to Site Manager
• Perform other duties as assigned or any other duties as may be reasonably directed by Site Manager/ Management Team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Mandatory 2-3 years of experience in customer facing operation in Theme Parks, Adventure sports or amusement ride industry particularly controlling an amusement ride.
• Comfortable to work 6 days a week including weekends/holidays.
• Pleasing and bold personality, good communication skills & service mindset
• A team player and be able to solve problems individually.
• Energetic, patient, positive, proactive
• Physical demand includes prolonged standing in an open environment.
• Be able to handle challenging situations and be able to perform multiple tasks at one time.
• Fluent in English. Competence in conversational Arabic would be an advantage.
• You will obtain certificate/qualification(s) required for performing the job, and complete and pass all post-employment training and assessments (including but not limited to On-Job-Training)
• Basic computer knowledge is a must.
• Use a radio and respond to commands with background noise, for the duration of shift.

Work outdoors and in varied light conditions including low or diminished lighting; maintain concentration/focus (e.g., ability to interpret the work environment and make decisions on predetermined operating policies and procedures)
