Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute pricing strategies for rooms, packages, and ancillary services to optimize revenue and profitability.
• Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and customer demand.
• Implement yield management techniques to ensure effective inventory control and dynamic pricing.
• Optimize revenue across all distribution channels, including direct bookings, OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), GDS (Global Distribution System), and corporate contracts.
• Prepare accurate revenue forecasts to support business planning and strategy.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and revenue targets in coordination with senior management.
• Monitor and adjust forecasts based on real-time market performance and historical data.
• Analyze key performance metrics such as ADR (Average Daily Rate), RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), and occupancy rates.
• Create and present comprehensive reports to stakeholders detailing revenue performance and recommendations for improvement.
• Identify underperforming segments and suggest strategies for improvement.
• Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Front Office teams to align strategies and ensure cohesive revenue growth efforts.
• Provide guidance to the Reservations team regarding booking trends and pricing adjustments.
• Collaborate with digital marketing teams to optimize website traffic and conversion rates.
• Manage and utilize revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and channel management software effectively.
• Stay updated on industry technology trends and recommend system upgrades or new tools to improve efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in revenue management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in revenue management systems, Excel, and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Sun System).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various teams.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and make data-driven decisions.
