Manage and coordinate the Hotels inventory based on various strategies defined by the Corporate Director of Revenue.
To play an integral part in Market Research, reporting and analysis.
Understand the dynamics of the Global, National Regional and Local Political and Economic Markets.
Analyze booking patterns by market segment.
Monitor competitors pricing and behaviors.
Have a good understanding about the competitors offerings and products.
Coordinate month end reports for relevant functions in the sales and revenue department.
Assist the Corporate Director of Revenue in annual pricing processes and strategies (research, price positioning).
Assist in the development of new revenue management processes.
Prepare various corporate reports.
Assist in the production of the annual revenue report.
Ensure full technical understanding and optimal use of all distribution channels across the hotel requirements.
The Reporting process (daily, weekly, monthly, annually) of the position encompasses mainly the translation of information in workbooks, Graphs and or presentations, using Duetto (RMS) Opera (PMS), TravelClick, STR.
Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotels and manage day to day yield operations.
Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of the each hotel.
Regularly check the input and the quality of data (segmentation) points.
Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, corporate, groups and etc).
Visit the hotels to get first-hand knowledge of all revenue management issues and other key areas.
Any other reasonable requests made by management.
Experience & Qualifications
2 - 4 years of hands-on Hotel Revenue Management experience.
Highly computer literate with a high level command of Excel.
Knowledgeable of hotel technology: PMS, RMS, Channel Manager, Extranets and etc.
