Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. Responsibilities include managing staff, finances, and ensuring the quality of products and services. The role also involves evaluating employee performance.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees.
• Keeping record of Opening and Closing check sheet.
• Keeping records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance.
• Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks, and profit-margins.
• Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.
• Monitoring shelves stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.
• Investigating market trends and offer suggestions to Retail Manager for introducing products which are in demand.
• Maintain Opening and closing checklist.
• Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints.
• Motivating employees to achieve targets.
• Training new staff members and scheduling shifts.

Requirements:

• Flexible with the the shift timings and day offs.
• High school diploma or any equivalent qualifications.
• Good command over English.
• Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
• Competency in retail management software.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and Word.
• Familiarity with applicable labor laws, and retail health and safety standards within UAE.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
