Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Team Supervision and Management :
• Lead and supervise a team of merchandisers, ensuring that they follow company guidelines for product display, stock rotation, and merchandising standards.
• Monitor team performance, providing coaching and training to optimize productivity and effectiveness.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and expectations.
• Client Relationship and Account Management :
• Build and maintain strong relationships with supermarket managers and key decision-makers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and supermarket clients, ensuring their needs are met and their concerns are addressed promptly.
• Negotiate new contracts, renewals, and promotional activities with supermarket accounts to drive sales and business growth.
• Sales and Order Management :
• Oversee the timely and accurate processing of orders from supermarkets, ensuring inventory levels are properly maintained.
• Ensure that supermarket clients receive high-quality products and services, addressing any order discrepancies or issues as they arise.
• Monitor sales performance in supermarket accounts and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Store Visits and Operational Oversight :
• Conduct regular visits to supermarkets to assess product placement, stock levels, and merchandising standards.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in product display, promotions, and store operations to increase sales.
• Ensure that products are available, correctly priced, and attractively displayed to drive sales.
• Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution :
• Actively resolve any operational, logistical, or relationship issues that may arise with supermarket management or within the team.
• Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining strong business relationships.
• Reporting and Performance Tracking :
• Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, stock levels, and team activities.
• Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Track and report on the success of promotional campaigns and new product introductions.
• Market and Competitor Analysis :
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
• Share insights with the company's leadership team to help shape product offerings and sales strategies.
