Job Responsibilities

As a retail sales associate, you will be the face of our brand, engaging with customers to provide a positive shopping experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

Welcoming customers with a friendly demeanor, offering product information, and assisting them in finding items. Understanding and promoting current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product areas meet merchandising standards. Answering customer inquiries regarding products, store policies, and services, providing knowledgeable and helpful responses to enhance satisfaction. Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, processing payments, handling returns, and managing customer transactions efficiently and accurately. Assisting in inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, conducting stock counts, and reporting low stock or product discrepancies to management. Supporting loss prevention efforts by monitoring the sales floor, reporting suspicious activity, and following security policies. Collaborating with fellow team members to achieve sales targets, meet store goals, and contribute to a positive team environment. Reporting to the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, ensuring that daily tasks align with store goals and standards.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Must-have:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings. Basic math skills for handling cash and managing sales transactions accurately. Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights for extended periods, in alignment with the physical demands of retail work. A high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice-to-have:

Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service. Familiarity with POS systems and other retail technology. An interest in [specific products or industry] to better connect with our customers.

Success Criteria

To excel in this role, as a retail sales associate we expect you to:

Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the team's overall sales performance. Deliver outstanding customer service, as measured by positive customer feedback and a satisfaction rating of 90% or higher. Maintain a consistently high level of product knowledge, actively engaging in training opportunities. Demonstrate initiative in keeping the sales floor organized, addressing customer needs, and supporting team members. Exhibit reliability and punctuality, consistently adhering to scheduled shifts and availability.

Pay: AED2,400.00 - AED3,200.00 per month
