:The position of Retail Projects and Partnerships Director is to ensure that the ancillary revenue activities run smoothly and efficiently in all areas of park operations. These activities consist of all non-inventory selling and include, but are not limited to, Photography Solutions, Games of Skill, Caricature Artists, Face Painting, Temporary Tattoos, or any \'Fun Retail\' concepted operated by Miral or by third-party operators.
The individual will own and deliver the strategic roadmap for all third-party operators and Retail strategies for YOY Annual Pass growth/corporate retail packages.
The individual will drive innovation and product development with our partners which the operating group sees as relevant/meaningful and will drive revenue/guest satisfaction.
Support new opening attractions and existing retail projects from concept to launch to enable effective and efficient retail deployments, including improvements required from previous initiatives.
Take ownership of the retail training program to further enhance customer service and upselling skills in attraction.
Job Scope:Projects
Collaborate closely with the director of strategy and development to ensure early engagement with key stakeholders to maximize retail opportunities.
Work with the Retail Buying Director and visual merchandising team to compile and own the critical path and project GANT charts.
Negotiate and agree third party and retail space planning in new build attractions, ensuring operationally and commercially it works for all.
Be the RSS \'lead\' on all Internal/external and IP communication meetings.
Work with procurement and function as the \'lead\' on contract negotiation and drafting of new and existing retail, third party operator contracts.
To be point of contact for all new Retail projects across the Miral estate.
To provide operational support and guidance from project concept through to handover
To support the retail buying team in delivering an on brand and on target retail merchandise range for each new project.
Responsible for full Project management of new attraction builds, including indoor attractions and Theme Park builds for third party operators and retail initiatives.
Work with attraction teams and contractors to ensure all projects launch on time and within budget
Partnerships
Manage all third-party relationships, ensuring all operational and revenue KPI's are achieved.
To function as a point of escalation to the Miral attraction teams.
To function as a consultant to support the photography and games operations.
To lead the business component on any Tenders and/or RFPs with regards to ancillary revenue streams.
To seek out new revenue opportunities, build business cases and present to the business for sign off and approval.
To develop, standardize, assess, and review department processes, policies, procedures, and reference documents to structure the department and assist colleagues in their operational needs.
To communicate on a quarterly basis a departmental newsletter to improve internal communication within the department and company.
Identify and propose opportunities to improve revenue generation across third party operators.
Drive innovation and product development with that local teams see as relevant/meaningful and will drive revenue/guest satisfaction.
To support the operating group in driving retail revenue across the Miral estate.
Compile and continuously develop a \'fun retail\' catalogue highlighting best in class/first to market Product/technologies.
Strategic
To actively seek and implement operational cost saving efforts to maximize the profitability of Miral ancillary operations and administer the relationship with third-party operators to maximize those revenue streams.
Develop and agree a forward partnership's strategy, seek buy in, support roll out and execution with key internal/external stakeholders.
To maximize revenue and experiences for event-based activities onsite.
Work closely with the Loyalty and sales teams to deliver a strategic Retail roadmap for Annual pass holders.
Build strong relationships with senior IP stakeholders to support product excellence and innovation.
Work with attraction teams, partners, and RSS team to compile a \'Best Practice\' document to drive upselling, and customer service across the Miral estate.
Attend global trade shows to source \'Best in Market\' innovations.
Continuously review new partners through global \'competitor\' visits.
Support operating model changes through \'test and learn\' trials.
Work with Marketing, digital and IT to drive Multisite pre/post online photography and Retail opportunities for domestic, tour group and school demographics.

Requirements:
College degree or equivalent work placement accreditation
Minimum 5 years\' experience in a retail multi-unit management position with an emphasis on Digital Photography and third-party lease operations.
Excellent people skills with emphasis on man-management and leadership skills
MS Office suite (IT) with emphasis on Excel
