Job Description

Join our dynamic retail team as a meticulous and detail-oriented Retail Accountant. You will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in our retail accounting processes. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee daily financial transactions and record-keeping. 2. Reconcile sales, inventory, and expenses to maintain accurate financial records. 3. Generate financial reports and analyses for management review. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes. 5. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. 6. Tax filing and closing. 7. Knowledge of POS system. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. 2. Proven 5 years experience as an accountant in a retail setting. 3. Strong knowledge of retail accounting principles and practices. 4. Proficient in accounting software, Zoho or similar and Microsoft Excel. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. 7. Ability to meet deadlines and work independently. 8. Excellent communication skills. 9. English language proficiency is a must. 10. Professional certification can be an added advantage.
