Company details: We are a small scale store selling a wide variety of building materials and tools. Our store is located in the heart of Ajman and we receive a high customer volume.
We are seeking a FULL TIME accountant in Ajman with experience in the building materials or retail industry and with till management experience.

The candidate MUST:
? - ?Have sufficient experience in either building materials, retail, or supermarkets .
? - ?Be experienced in inventory accounting and Point of Sale system (POS)
? ?- Be able to help management with establishing best accounting practices and policies
? ?- Be well versed with VAT reporting practices in UAE
? ?- Have excellent communication, team work skills
? ?- Have experience in working with accounting software like: Zoho, Pact, SAP, Odoo
Job description:
?• ?- Verification of daily purchase entries• in system
? - ?Keeping track of daily payments - cash and cheque
? ?- Assist management in monitoring POS closing discrepancies when required
?- ?Monitor daily opening and closing balances
? ??- Bank reconciliation
? ?- Maintenance of general ledgers
? ?- Maintenance of credit customer records and collections without delays
? - ?Undertake monthly payroll calculations
? - Generate all relevant reports on company's financial performance on a monthly or quarterly basis based on GAAP principles
? ?- Assist with VAT calculations and filings
?- ?Assist with regular inventory control and management
Other Requirements:
? ?- Must be a graduate with a degree in Accounting and Finance
? ?- Willing to work with a start up venture and assist in putting key accounting structures in place
?- ?Mult-lingual - Hindi, Urdu, English, Arabic (English and Hindi are a MUST ; Basic Arabic is preferred too)
? ?- Tech Savvy - must have experience in working with accounting software like: Zoho, Pact, Odoo; and other basic software like - MS Office, Google Suite
? ?- Quick learner, positive attitude, team player, good communication skills
Location - Rashidiya 2, Ajman
Salary - AED 1000 during probation period of 6 months, and after probation AED 2000 based on performance
Hours - 9am - 6pm ; Monday - Saturday
Visa and transport - Must be on own visa and accommodation. Must be able to commute to and from work daily.
