Restaurant Manager
Shall be responsible for leading and managing the restaurant team, ensuring excellent customer service, optimizing profits through effective cost control and revenue generation, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, cleanliness, and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Oversight & Management:
Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including but not limited to guest relation, staff supervision
and management, scheduling, inventory management, and financial performance.
Staff Supervision & Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards, and fostering a positive
working environment. Conduct staff performance evaluation and advise improvement as necessary.
Customer Service:
Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction by interacting with guest, resolving issues promptly, and
implementing corrective actions as needed.
Financial Management:
Monitor and control restaurant budgets and expenditures, including food, beverages, and labor cost, to maximize
profitability.
Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, hygiene and safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety
regulations.
Marketing and Sales:
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement strategies to promote the restaurant, increase sales, and
attract new customers.
Vendor Relations:
Manage relations with suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and monitor deliveries to ensure quality and timely service.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on restaurant performance, including sales, budget variances, staff productivity, and present findings
to the Owner and/or Stakeholders.
Any other tasks as requested by the Owner and/or Stakeholders.
Qualification
University Graduate or equivalent degree in Hospitality or related field
Experience
5+ years of experience in a related fieldin UAE
Training
Proven experience as a Restaurant / Operation Manager or in a similar role on the hospitality industry
Skills
Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
Knowledge of restaurant management software (e.g. POS systems, etc.)
Understanding financial aspects of restaurant operations, including budgeting, cost control, and profit margins.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
