Job Description
Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant, escorting them to their tables and providing menus.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space.
Maintain a tidy and organized entrance area, including keeping menus and promotional materials up to date.
Assist guests with inquiries, including menu options, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth flow of dining operations.
Monitor table turnover and manage waiting lists during peak dining hours.
Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, resolving issues to the guest\'s satisfaction.
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return for future visits.
Collaborate with management to implement policies and procedures for guest service and satisfaction.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience as a hostess or in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Warm and friendly demeanor, with a passion for providing exceptional service.
Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and grooming standards.
Knowledge of restaurant operations and basic food and beverage terminology.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
