This is not simply our job, it\'s our passion.About The RoleThe Restaurant General Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent guest service. The position is responsible for managing all areas of full service within the restaurant,including but not limited to, training and retaining anexcellent staff, delivering outstanding hospitality, food cost, labor cost, shared P&L responsibility, running shifts, teaching and learning, sanitation, safety and cleanliness, while adhering to all companypolicies and procedures.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and by maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest serviceRecruit, train, develop, and communicate with all team members and ensure they are knowledgeable on job expectations, as well as assess performance on a regular basis, to include annual performance reviewsImplement and maintain guest service standards and/or brand specifications and grows business within the restaurantResponsible for handling guest complaints/comments, and using them for making improvementsMaintain all merchandising standards, display presentations and signing standards and monitors inventory levelsPlan and assign daily goals, tasks and assignments and/or instructs direct reports (i.e. supervisors, assistant managers) on the sameDrive team members in the areas of new product introductions and promotional programs; help to guide implementation of these items and provide training to team members accordinglyUtilize experience to effectively control financials, personnel management, facilities, marketing, food preparation and quality, and general business operationsCommunicate company policies with team members through written and oral communication in a timely and effective mannerComplete quarterly menu engineering by following the SOP and using the \xe2\x80\x9cMenu Engineering Tool\xe2\x80\x9dWork with Brand Partner to develop brand strategy, identity, originality, innovation in the restaurantCoordinate chef visits, marketing approach, special events and promotional yearly activitiesEnsure guest database, feedback, comment card rating and preferences are recorded in the restaurant reservations system and \xe2\x80\x9cGuest Comment Card Tool\xe2\x80\x9dManage the \xe2\x80\x9cF&B ISO Tool\xe2\x80\x9d and ensure it is always up to datePrepare projections of future sales and expenses in order to establish realistic yet challenging profit objectivesMaintain staffing levels (hiring employees and/or scheduling work hours) through effective planning, which will assure the efficient operation of the restaurant in accordance with company policyManage conflict and successfully resolve uncomfortable situations with guests, customers, peers, and direct reportsIdentify potential or existing operational problems and initiates, develops, and implements appropriate solutions and measure resultsMaintain adherence to all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety standards establishedAny other duties as assignedSkills, Experience & Educational RequirementsMinimum 3 - 5 years\' experience in a similar role in a luxury restaurant with direct P&L responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceFull Service international restaurant experience preferred.Exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to interface effectively with all levels of management.Ability to effectively influence through knowledge, relationship management, and trust.Excellent written and verbal communicationProven ability to effectively manage conflict and ensure successful outcomes; work under pressure and deal with high stress situations while exercising sound judgment and decision making.Atlantis Dubai is an iconic entertainment destination comprised of two world-class resorts; Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis, The Royal; offering an unbeatable opportunity for you to grow and develop in your career.Join a team that is adventurous, creative, warm-hearted and extroverted.
