We are looking for a Restaurant Cost Accountant to join our team and take charge of analyzing and controlling costs to ensure maximum financial efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Calculate and analyze the costs of raw materials and food ingredients.
Monitor direct and indirect costs and provide periodic reports to management.
Prepare profit and loss reports and analyze financial gaps.
Oversee inventory, calculate production costs, and track waste.
Collaborate with purchasing and kitchen teams to control costs and enhance profitability.
Recommend strategies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Proficiency in accounting software such as (SAP, QuickBooks, Odoo).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare accurate financial reports.
Solid knowledge of restaurant operating costs and inventory management.
Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively with different departments.
