Job Description
You will handle customer payments, process orders accurately, and maintain a friendly and efficient checkout process. Your attention to detail and exceptional interpersonal skills will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash transactions and provide change to customers.
Ensure the accuracy of bill amounts and reconcile cash drawer at the end of the shift.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station.
Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
Upsell and promote restaurant specials and loyalty programs.
Follow restaurant policies and procedures related to cash handling and customer service.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
Proven experience as a Cashier or in customer service roles.
Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude.
Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with patience.
Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with restaurant operations and menu items is advantageous.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
