Our client, a family of unique food concepts that are built on sustainability and delicate culinary excellence who operate premium international brands including FERDI, Philippe Chow, Beef Bar, Novikov, and more, apart from amazing local brands well known for their authenticity and original Kuwaiti taste, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Assistant General Manager (He/She) who will be responsible for providing leadership and support to the restaurant team, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience working in a premium dining establishment or 5-star hotel restaurant. Fluency in English is necessary, and an always neat personal presentation is highly valued in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the General Manager in managing the restaurant's daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting.

Ensure the highest level of service and guest satisfaction is achieved by managing staff training, hiring, and coaching.

Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure menu offerings are of the highest quality and align with the restaurant's overall vision and standards.

Assist in developing and executing marketing and promotional strategies to attract new guests and retain loyal ones.

Ensure that all safety and sanitation protocols are in place and always adhered to.

Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and events, to ensure seamless guest experiences for private events and large parties.

Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure that all team members are informed and equipped to provide top-quality service. Foster a positive team environment and provide leadership and support to all team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Chinese premium dining.

Previous experience in a premium dining establishment or 5-star hotel restaurant is required.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong command of the English language.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think quickly and strategically in high-pressure situations.

Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Must have outstanding neat personal presentation and always possess a professional demeanor.
