The Resource Planning position entails the development, analysis, and maintenance of medium- and short-term plans (staff and equipment) and rosters for the assigned business area. This is in alignment with business plans, strategy, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Additionally, the role involves the application of statistical and optimization methods to develop and interpret scenarios that support management decision-making and strategic policy formulation, thereby serving customer airlines in an innovative and cost-effective manner.Key Responsibilities:
Develop, analyze, and maintain medium- and short-term plans (staff and equipment) for assigned business area in line with business plans, strategy, and SLAs.
Apply statistical and optimization methods to develop scenarios supporting decision-making and strategic policy formulation for customer airlines.
Facilitate activities related to manpower and equipment budgets across various departments.
Empower line managers on resource deployment rules aligned with business plans and SLAs.
Transform rules into resource management system, utilizing mathematical modeling and statistical analysis for "What-if?" scenarios.
Align KPIs with business strategy, optimizing resource plans for increased efficiencies.
Evaluate resource requirements/business cases, considering budget plans and parameters.
Influence process owners and department heads for effective implementation of redesigned rules.
Train line management personnel on resource planning tools and techniques.
Act as SME for Resource Management System and associated tools, maximizing usage in planning scenarios.
Develop optimized master rosters based on agreed rules and load factors.
Present roster solutions and comprehensive MIS data to senior management for maximum resource utilization.
Share analysis and metrics with Finance for airline profitability exercises.
Prepare and maintain reports on KPIs, manpower status, engagement rules, and master rosters for senior management decision-making.
Review feedback from RTC/statistics reports to recommend revised engagement standards.
REQUIREMENTSQualifications & Experience:
Proficient in Resource management and scheduling, including BPR, Method Study, Work Measurement, and Operations Research.
Previous roles in the airline or airport services industry, or as an Industrial Engineer handling Work-Study and Business Process Re-Engineering.
Degree or Honors (12+3 or equivalent) in engineering or scientific discipline.
Preference for Industrial Engineering qualification.
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication (written and verbal), negotiation, creativity, and lateral thinking.
Expertise in systematic documentation of project reports and processes.
Proficient in standard PC packages: MS-Access (Database), MS-Excel (Spreadsheet), Power BI.
