Randstad is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join an international engineering consultancy on a water recycling plant based in Dubai, UAE.The role involves working on projects associated with Stormwater & Drainage, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks and Water distribution networks Pumping Station, Recycling Plant. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction supervising & monitoring.Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of water engineering projects in Dubai, UAE.
- Manage and coordinate project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and safety guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements and client expectations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and other project partners, to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, resolving technical challenges and optimizing project outcomes.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess construction progress, quality, and adherence to engineering standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records, including progress reports, technical drawings, and change orders.Requirements: - Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Resident Engineer or similar role in the water engineering industry, with a successful track record of managing and delivering complex engineering projects.
- In-depth knowledge of water engineering principles, practices, and technologies, with a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, water treatment processes, and infrastructure design.
- Proficient in project management tools and software, with the ability to effectively plan, schedule, and manage engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex engineering issues and propose effective solutions.
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards in the UAE, particularly in the water engineering sector, is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to project challenges.Salary:
