Job description:Requisition Number: 23113BRDescription:The resident engineer will be responsible for overseeing the progress of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. This role will require extensive on-site presence and coordination with various stakeholders during the entire construction process.This role will be assigned in Abu Dhabi.Key Responsibilities:
Technical Delivery
xefx83x98 Supervise and coordinate all aspects of construction activities on-site, including material delivery, contractor schedules, labor resources, and equipment usage.xefx83x98 Reviewed the design proposals, work program, material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, payments, variation orders and claims, etc.xefx83x98 Effectively manage the site supervision staff during construction & ensuring the works are being conducted according to the Contract specifications.xefx83x98 Ensure all contractors, subcontractors and workers adhere to project schedules, quality, and safety standards.xefx83x98 Work closely with designers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance with plans and specifications.xefx83x98 Regularly review progress and status reports and advise on adjustments and changes to meet project requirements.xefx83x98 Provide updates to the client and project team on the projects status, costs, and progress and request for approvals or change orders, as necessary.xefx83x98 Collaborate with project contractors to recommend innovative solutions that will improve the quality of the project as well as save the project cost.xefx83x98 Prepare and submit periodic project reports summarizing progress, schedules, and goals to the management team.xefx83x98 Collaborate with other Resident engineers in other projects in coordinating schedules, resources and finding solutions.xefx83x98 Ensure monitoring of the quality of materials and workmanship installed, operated, and maintained.xefx83x98 Maintain the Resident Engineers daily diary and daily diaries and reports by his subordinates. Liaise with Client, Project Management and Contractor for resolution of project issues, in addition to concerned Authorities when required.xefx83x98 Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.xefx83x98 Familiarity with conditions of contract, and quality assurance.xefx83x98 Liaise with clients, co-ordination with Governmental Organization and other Consultants/Contractorsxefx83x98 Consistently adheres to and enforces internal Company processes and policies such as business and contracting rules.xefx83x98 Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication and negotiating skills.xefx83x98 Works in a manner to ensure personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies.

xefx83x98 Work in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems, performing basic design calculations as required.xefx83x98 Conduct technical, feasibility studies and site investigations.xefx83x98 Liaison with teams Client, Contractor, supervision team, Engineering, to facilitate the completion of tasks and projects.xefx83x98 Good communicator.

Qualifications:The successful candidate will have Bachelor Degree in Civil engineering with 12 Years of experience in Drainage, Water network miscellaneous Projects.Candidate must have PMP certifications and proficient in PRIMAVERA and MS OFFICE .Candidate must have previous experience in dealing with Construction manager, CS site team, Client, Contractor and Suppliers.Experience with SWS Infra & Water recycle Project AdvantagesAbout Stantec:Were active members of the communities we serve.
