: Resident Engineer

Position: Resident Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi

Experience: Minimum 15+ years

Industry: Building Projects

Responsibilities:

- Project Management:

- Oversee and manage the construction of building projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure all project requirements are met.

- Site Supervision:

- Supervise daily site activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor the progress of construction works and resolve any issues that may arise on-site.

- Quality Control:

- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of construction.

- Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction works to identify and rectify any deviations from project specifications.

- Coordination and Communication:

- Facilitate effective communication between the project team, contractors, and clients.

- Conduct regular meetings to review project progress, address issues, and update stakeholders.

- Technical Support:

- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, contractors, and other stakeholders.

- Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications to ensure feasibility and compliance with standards.

- Risk Management:

- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to prevent accidents and incidents on-site.

- Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and inspection records.

- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 15+ years of experience in managing building projects, with a focus on high-rise buildings and complex structures.

- Extensive experience in handling building projects in Abu Dhabi.

- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards in Abu Dhabi.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

- Immediate joiner preferred (0-1 week).
