• Experience working with Engineering consultants with supervision projects is a must.

Job Summary:

We are now seeking an exceptional Resident Engineer with 15 or more years of experience to join our Project delivery team in Abu Dhabi. This critical role will be responsible for leading the post contract construction supervision team to ensure that the project will be delivered on time and within budget according to the contract. You will supervise the work of the site engineers, surveyors, inspectors, and all other disciplines working on the construction site.

Responsibilities:

The role of the resident engineer should cover the following responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Demonstrating extensive knowledge and experience in the execution of civil building projects, landscape, and irrigation works connected to high-rise tower projects.
• Ability to make senior-level project decisions and liaise with applicable authorities.
• Act as the main point of contact between the engineering consultancy and the client.
• Regularly communicate project progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction
• Familiar with Abu Dhabi rules & regulations & General Conditions of the Contract
• Quality Assurance, Quantity Surveying, and Project Network Techniques.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Projects.
• Excellent written and communication skills (English), time management, and supervisory skills
• Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
• Manage relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
