Supervise and lead the reservations team, ensuring they adhere to hotel standards and procedures.
Train new reservation agents on reservation systems, customer service skills, and policies.
Provide ongoing guidance, performance feedback, and coaching to the team to ensure optimal service levels and productivity.
Reservation Management:
Oversee the daily reservations process, ensuring all booking inquiries, both online and offline, are handled accurately and efficiently.
Monitor availability, room rates, and special requests, ensuring that the hotel's inventory is managed properly.
Handle complex or VIP reservations and special guest requests with attention to detail.
Manage group bookings, including contract negotiation, room assignments, and billing procedures.
Revenue Management:
Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to implement pricing strategies, promotions, and offers to maximize room sales.
Monitor booking patterns, occupancy levels, and market trends to make recommendations for rate adjustments or special offers.
Ensure the proper allocation of rooms, balancing guest preferences with operational needs.
Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure that all guest reservation inquiries are handled professionally and efficiently, providing information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities.
Address guest concerns, complaints, or requests regarding reservations, offering solutions that ensure satisfaction.
Respond to guest requests in a timely manner, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Systems and Technology Management:
Ensure the hotel's reservation systems are being used effectively and accurately by the team.
Monitor the system for any discrepancies or errors, such as overbookings or missing reservation details.
Work with the IT department to troubleshoot system issues and ensure that reservation technology is functioning smoothly.
Reporting and Administrative Duties:
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on reservations, occupancy, and revenue performance for management.
Assist with forecasting room availability, occupancy, and revenue projections.
Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest preferences, and any special requests.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management Or Equivalent Degree
Minimum 6 months to one year of experience
