: As a Reservation and Ticketing Executive / Travel Guide, you will play a pivotal role in assisting travelers with their reservations, ticketing, and providing valuable guidance for an enjoyable and hassle-free travel experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Reservation and Ticketing: Assist clients in booking flights, accommodations, and other travel-related services. Provide information on available travel options, schedules, and pricing. Confirm reservations and issue tickets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Handle changes, cancellations, and rebooking as needed.
Travel Guidance: Act as a knowledgeable resource for travelers, offering information on destinations, culture, local attractions, and travel itineraries. Provide advice on visa requirements, health precautions, and travel insurance options. Offer recommendations for restaurants, activities, and transportation options at the destination. Address any questions or concerns travelers may have regarding their journey.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally. Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude when handling customer issues or complaints. Ensure client satisfaction by going the extra mile to meet their needs.
Documentation and Records:Maintain accurate records of reservations, tickets, and client information. Stay updated on travel regulations, visa requirements, and any industry-related changes. Prepare and present necessary travel documents and itineraries to clients.
Sales and Upselling: Identify opportunities for upselling travel-related services such as tours, travel insurance, or car rentals. Contribute to the company\'s revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in reservation and ticketing within the travel and tourism industry is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of booking systems and ticketing software.
Experience working with various ticketing systems and software, with proficiency in GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for travel and a deep understanding of different destinations and cultures.
Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using relevant computer applications and tools.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
Travel industry certifications, such as IATA, would be a plus.
