As we expand, we are seeking a Reservation Agent with experience in the holiday homes industry to help us provide top-notch service and seamless booking experiences for our guests.

Job Overview:

As a Reservation Agent , you will be a key part of our customer service team, responsible for managing reservations, providing personalized recommendations, and ensuring all guest needs are met prior to their stay. The ideal candidate will have experience working with holiday homes or vacation rentals and possess strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to inbound guest inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
• Assist guests in selecting the best holiday homes based on their preferences, group size, and budget.
• Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure availability calendars and booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, etc.) are updated regularly.
• Handle payment processing, providing guests with clear and accurate billing information.
• Communicate essential property details, check-in instructions, and local recommendations to guests.
• Resolve guest issues, concerns, or complaints swiftly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and operations teams to guarantee properties are prepared for guest arrivals.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all properties, amenities, and services to assist guests effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the booking experience.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Reservation Agent or in a similar role within the holiday homes or vacation rental industry.
• Proficiency in booking systems and property management software (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com, Guestline, etc.).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
• Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
• Knowledge of the local area and its attractions is a plus.
