Research Associate
Job Description
A Research Associate position is available in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering focusing on the modelling of fracture behavior of brittle materials. Experience in fatigue and fracture of materials, fractography, mechanical behavior of materials and structures, and mechanical testing is a plus. The appointment is initially for 6 months starting from July 2024. Only online submissions will be entertained. The candidates after pre-shortlisting, will be notified for a Skype-based interview via email.
Minimum Qualification
MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualification
Publications related to fatigue of materials and fractography of structures
Expected Skills
Knowledge and work experience related to failure behavior of materials and structures.
