Job Description

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a research assistant in Structural/Materials Engineering. The candidate should be knowledgeable of construction material characterization tests and structural analysis/design of reinforced concrete members. The candidate should be able to synthesize sustainable construction materials in the laboratory and conduct experiments for characterization and performance evaluation. The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering with high GPA and should be willing to pursue master's in civil engineering at UAE University.



Minimum Qualification



• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering with high GPA. o Willingness to pursue master's in civil engineering at UAE University.


Preferred Qualification



• Academic tutoring experience. o Ability to use structural engineering software. o Ability to work independently and among a group o Demonstrable initiative, commitment, and dedication in executing the role o Adaptability and flexibility to changes associated with research demands o Commitment to provide a safe and healthy workplace
