The Khalifa Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Assistant Research Professor in Bioinformatics and Population Genetics. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research in genetic engineering, focusing on population genetics, evolutionary biology, and bioinformatics methodologies.Minimum Qualification- Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Population Genetics, Genomics, or a related field. - Proven experience in bioinformatics analysis, particularly in population genetics or evolutionary studies. - Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or Perl, and familiarity with bioinformatics tools and databases. - Strong understanding of statistical genetics, evolutionary theory, and relevant methodologies. - Excellent communication skills, with a track record of publishing research and presenting findings. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment. - Experience in mentoring students or junior researchers is preferred.Preferred Qualification
