Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Assistant to support medical research projects. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and English and have proven experience in literature review, developing data collection tools, data collection, analysis, and reporting. Familiarity with statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, SAS or R is essential. Candidates with prior publications and a background in medical research are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities o Literature Review: Conduct systematic and narrative literature reviews to provide robust background and context for ongoing and upcoming research projects. o Data Collection Tools: Develop and test tools such as questionnaires, surveys, and other instruments tailored to project requirements. o Data Collection: Coordinate and conduct data collection activities, including fieldwork, interviews, and electronic data gathering, while ensuring compliance with ethical standards. o Data Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis using software tools such as SPSS and R to derive meaningful insights from collected data. o Reporting: Prepare detailed research reports, manuscripts, presentations, and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders. o Project Management: Assist in coordinating research activities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed efficiently. o Publication Support: Collaborate on manuscript preparation for publication in peer-reviewed journals. o Compliance: Adhere to ethical research guidelines and institutional review board (IRB) protocols, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.



Minimum Qualification



Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Epidemiology, Medicine, Biostatistics, or a related discipline.

Experience:

o Prior experience in medical research projects is mandatory. o Demonstrated experience with literature reviews, data collection tools, and statistical analysis. o Track record of contributing to peer-reviewed publications is highly desirable. Skills: o Fluent in both Arabic and English (oral and written). o Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, STATA or R for data analysis. o Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. o Excellent written and verbal communication skills. o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
