Job Description

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) at the United Arab Emirates University seeks to appoint a Research Assistant. The candidate is expected to collaborate and assist in an ongoing funded research project in the area of entrepreneurship and innovation. The candidate's duties will include management of day-to-day activities of research projects, conducting literature reviews, and collecting data. The application package should include (1) a cover letter, (2) a detailed resume, (3) the names and contact information of at least three references, (4) a research statement, and (5) an outreach statement outlining previous work, individually or with students, in supporting entrepreneurship and innovation within the community, region, or academic profession, and how this experience can contribute to advancing the ongoing research project.



Minimum Qualification



• A Master's degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Social Sciences, or related fields from a reputable university. o Demonstrated research experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, or closely related areas. o Experience conducting outreach activities that link research with community or academic initiatives.


Preferred Qualification



• A strong publication record or evidence of research productivity in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. o Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and collaborating on funded research projects. o Knowledge and practical experience with advanced statistical techniques and tools.


Expected Skills
