College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAEU is seeking an experienced Learning Resource Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Medical Education Department. As a Learning Resource Specialist, you will play a crucial role in: \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining CMHS learning management system (LMS). \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining CMHS assessment management system \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop implement and maintain CMHS e.portfolio system \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in training and support faculty and staff in operating all e.systems at CMHS \xe2\x80\xa2 Design, implement, and manage the learning management system, ensuring a seamless user experience for both learners and administrators. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging and interactive learning resources. \xe2\x80\xa2 Create and maintain an organized repository of learning resources, including multimedia content, e-learning modules, assessments, and training documentation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct regular assessments of the LMS to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary updates to enhance functionality and user experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Train and support staff members and instructors in effectively utilizing the LMS and other learning technologies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in e-learning and learning management systems, recommending innovative solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Upload learning resources in BlackboardMinimum Qualification

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining learning management systems, preferably in an educational setting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in learning management systems such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or similar platforms. \xe2\x80\xa2 Solid IT skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to the LMS. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and multimedia software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with stakeholders at all levels. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
