Job Description
College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAEU is seeking an experienced Learning Resource Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Medical Education Department. As a Learning Resource Specialist, you will play a crucial role in: Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining CMHS learning management system (LMS). Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining CMHS assessment management system Develop implement and maintain CMHS e.portfolio system Assist in training and support faculty and staff in operating all e.systems at CMHS Design, implement, and manage the learning management system, ensuring a seamless user experience for both learners and administrators. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging and interactive learning resources. Create and maintain an organized repository of learning resources, including multimedia content, e-learning modules, assessments, and training documentation. Conduct regular assessments of the LMS to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary updates to enhance functionality and user experience. Train and support staff members and instructors in effectively utilizing the LMS and other learning technologies. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in e-learning and learning management systems, recommending innovative solutions. Upload learning resources in BlackboardMinimum Qualification
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining learning management systems, preferably in an educational setting. Proficiency in learning management systems such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or similar platforms. Solid IT skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to the LMS. Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and multimedia software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
