Job Responsibilities

Supervise the design, implementation and dissemination of economic research and reports, including economic impact analysis, sectoral research and trade analysis. Supervise and guide economic researchers and analysts in conducting research and analysis on economic trends, policy issues, and the business climate in the region. Build relationships and engage with relevant stakeholders, including companies, government entities, research institutes and other organizations, to identify and study key economic issues and opportunities. Ensure the accuracy, quality and timing of the Section's reports and economic research, and effectively manage resources in order to comply with project schedules and research and to adhere to budget limitations. Supervise the implementation of economic research on various subjects such as inflation, export diversity, economic development, etc. Manage the conduct of annual economic and specialized surveys upon request to support internal entities such as sectoral working groups and external entities such as the Presidential Court. Manage economic report writing and policy briefs on economic trends and prospects. Prepare and conduct presentations and achievements on economic issues and trends of internal and external stakeholders, including the senior management, government officials and other key partners. Stay abreast of economic research, policy developments and trends in GCC countries and provide intellectual leadership on emerging issues and opportunities for members.
