Job Description

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, training and development, compliance with UAE labor laws, and fostering a positive company culture. This position requires a hands-on leader who is strategic, adaptable, and able to manage a diverse workforce in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract skilled landscaping and construction professionals (designers, project managers, engineers, laborers, etc.).
• Coordinate the hiring process, including creating job descriptions, conducting interviews, and negotiating job offers.
• Manage recruitment channels, both local and international, to meet the staffing needs of ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Foster a positive working environment by addressing employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters.
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
• Implement employee engagement initiatives to promote company culture, team-building, and retention.
• Design and implement performance appraisal systems aligned with company goals and project timelines.
• Work with department heads to set performance expectations and provide feedback to employees.
• Identify training and development opportunities based on performance reviews.
• Develop and manage competitive salary structures, including benefits, incentives, and allowances.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with UAE labor laws.
• Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, vacation, and end-of-service benefits.
• Identify training needs for employees, especially related to technical landscaping skills, project management, and health and safety.
• Coordinate internal and external training programs, workshops, and certifications.
• Support career development and succession planning for employees.
• Ensure the company's HR practices are fully compliant with UAE labor laws, regulations, and government policies.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in labor law and HR best practices in the UAE.
• Handle employee documentation (contracts, visas, permits) and ensure compliance with government labor departments.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, especially on-site.
• Organize regular safety training for employees, particularly those involved in landscaping and construction work.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Manage offboarding procedures for departing employees, including exit interviews and final settlements.
• Prepare and present HR reports to senior management on key metrics, including turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and training needs.
• Track HR KPIs and provide insights to improve organizational performance.

Key Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role within the landscaping, construction, or design industry.
• Proven experience in managing large teams and understanding project-driven environments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and visa processes.

Skills:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with construction/landscaping industry practices and terminology is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Preference will be given to those who can join us immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED1.00 per month
