Repair Engineer

Job Summary: The Repair Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair parts and related equipment. This role requires in-depth technical expertise to identify and resolve hardware issues.

Key Responsibilities:

-Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with ATM hardware components such as cash dispensers, card readers, receipt printers, and related peripherals.

-Analyze software and firmware issues impacting ATM functionality and apply necessary updates or patches.

-Replace faulty ATM parts and components, including circuit boards, sensors, and other internal mechanisms.

-Liaise with field engineer, service providers, and bank staff to coordinate repair activities.

-Document all service actions, repair details, and parts used in the maintenance logs.

-Provide technical guidance and training to ATM service teams as needed.

-Identify opportunities to improve ATM reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

-Maintain strong knowledge of the latest ATM technologies, industry standards, and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

-Strong proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex ATM hardware and software issues.

-Hands-on expertise in repairing and maintaining a variety of ATM models and components.

-Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.

-Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles.

-Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

-Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, service manuals, and diagnostic software.

-Experience using specialized test equipment and tools to assess ATM component performance

• Making Mechanical Repairs: 1 year (Preferred)
• Replace faulty ATM parts and components: 1 year (Preferred)
• Simple electronics repairs: 1 year (Preferred)
• Repaired parts packaging: 1 year (Preferred)
• Repair ticket following via CSS: 1 year (Preferred)
