We are seeking a dedicated Relationship Officer SME for Business Loan & Business Account opening for our banking sales team to foster strong client relationships and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of banking products and services. As a Relationship Officer, you will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities and providing exceptional service to our customers. Roles and Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their financial needs and providing tailored banking solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on banking products, services, and financial strategies.
Conduct thorough financial assessments and recommend appropriate products and services to meet clients\' objectives.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to clients, showcasing the value proposition of our banking products and services.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while executing sales activities.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation.
Provide timely and responsive customer service to address client inquiries, resolve issues, and build trust and loyalty.
Stay updated on industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends in banking and finance.
Implements the Obligor Risk Rating methodology to determine a customers eligibility to obtain loans facilities from the Bank.
Liaise with Credit Administration & Operations for efficient disbursement & maintenance of loans
Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in banking sales, or experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of banking products and services, including loans, deposits, investments, and insurance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence clients effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools.
