: The Relationship Manager I in Business Banking is pivotal in nurturing and expanding the bank's relationships with small to mid-sized businesses. This role involves strategic account management, business development, and leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage a team of 8 relationship officers (RO), providing guidance and support; recruit new officers as needed to maintain team strength.
Account Management: Oversee and enhance existing client relationships, ensuring their banking needs are met and seeking opportunities for further engagement.
Business Development: Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with new business clients, expanding the bank's market presence.
Cross-Selling: Advise clients on the bank's suite of products and services, aligning offerings with client needs to foster business growth.
Client Solutions: Ensure that all products and services provided meet the highest standards of client satisfaction.
Reporting: Generate reports for management on business activities, client engagement, and team performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/ master's degree in economics, finance, or related field.
3-8 years of experience in business banking or a similar financial services role.
Demonstrated ability in relationship management and business development.
Leadership experience with a track record of team management and development.
Additional qualifications include advanced knowledge of banking offerings, as well as excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
