Position Overview:

The Rehabilitation Technical Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the assessment and intervention processes. This role is essential in ensuring that our team utilizes appropriate assessment tools and evidence-based interventions to support the developmental needs of children within the holistic approach of the center. The Rehabilitation Technical Manager will also provide case management and facilitate effective communication between the therapy team, the parents, and the schools.

Key responsibilities:

1. Assessment and Intervention Planning:

• Review and study individual cases to determine the most appropriate assessment plans.
• Advise on and select the correct type of intervention based on assessment results.
• Ensure all interventions are evidence-based and tailored to each child's unique needs.

2. Case Management:

• Manage and oversee all cases from initial assessment to intervention and follow-up.
• Make informed decisions regarding the course of therapy for each child.
• Maintain detailed and accurate case files and records.

3. Team Supervision:

• Provide technical supervision and support to the therapy team, including behavioral therapists, special educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists.
• Review and provide feedback on written reports and intervention plans.
• Conduct team meetings to discuss case progress and challenges.
• Foster healthy conflict resolution within the team through structured communication and collaborative problem-solving.
• Make corrective actions when needed in collaboration with the management

4. Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and respond to any concerns.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure a well coordinated service.
• Serve as a liaison between the therapy center and external stakeholders as needed.
• Evaluate and ensure the technical accuracy of content posted on social media

5. Professional Development:

• Actively contribute to the induction process of new therapists and ensure a smooth integration into the center's approach.
• Stay current with the latest research and developments in child development and therapeutic interventions.
• Review initiatives from the team regarding updating assessment tools, therapy tools, and approaches.
• Discuss external training opportunities for the team in collaboration with the management.

Qualifications:

• A valid degree in Psychology, Child Development, Special Education or a related field. Equivalency of UAE Ministry of Education is a must.
• Extensive experience with assessment tools and evidence-based interventions in behavioral therapy, special education, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
• Strong case management and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to supervise and support a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Arabic & English).
• Demonstrated ability to review and correct written reports and intervention plans
• Previous experience working in a therapy center or similar setting and knowledge of local regulations and standards for therapy services are a bonu s.

Working Conditions:

• This position involves regular interaction with children, families, therapists, and special education teachers.
• Full-time position with regular working hours, though occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to accommodate client needs and center events.
