Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (DHA Licensed) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with the standards and policies of the healthcare facility. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care for patients while adhering to the guidelines set by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). The role requires clinical competence, professionalism, and a commitment to patient safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care based on patient needs and medical conditions.
• Monitor patients' health status by conducting physical assessments, reviewing medical records, and following up on diagnostic test results.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide wound care, manage intravenous (IV) lines, and perform other nursing duties such as catheterization or dressing changes.
• Ensure the safe transfer and mobility of patients and assist them with personal hygiene, feeding, and toileting as necessary.
Documentation:
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
• Document the administration of medications, treatments, and any changes in the patient's condition in accordance with healthcare facility protocols.
• Report any adverse events or incidents as per the healthcare facility's policies.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team:
• Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
• Participate in patient care planning, interdisciplinary rounds, and discussions on the patient's progress and treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers regarding patient conditions, treatment plans, and care instructions.
Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to all local and international nursing standards, including Dubai Health Authority (DHA) guidelines.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Assist with emergency response activities and provide life-saving interventions such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) when necessary.
• Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained in accordance with DHA and healthcare facility regulations.
Patient Education:
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care instructions, wound care advice, and dietary or exercise recommendations.
Professional Development:
• Keep current with nursing best practices and standards through continuous education, workshops, and training.
• Maintain a valid DHA nursing license and renew it as per DHA requirements.
• Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and in-service training programs.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Registered Nurse License.
• Experience: Minimum of [X] years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting (e.g., hospital, clinic, long-term care).
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in both English and Arabic (preferred but not mandatory).
