Complies with established Nursing Department Policies and Procedures.
Maintain and update all relevant patient documentations/medical records as per hospital policy and procedures.
Maintains confidentiality of patient's records.
Follows the reporting mechanisms/chain of command in the Nursing Department. Ensuring patient care issues are correctly and quickly reported.
Takes responsibility for professional clinical practice and is actively involved in updating and continuing education.
Attends and participates in Ward/Unit meetings.
Participates in performance improvement activities within nursing department.
Responsible for medication Inventory (Controlled, Semi controlled, High alert etc.) Follow the protocol of controlled medicine handover.
Follow the protocol of handover communication during shift change, shifting the patient to other department and diagnostic procedure.
Maintain the cleanliness of department following infection control protocols.
Follow the protocol of patient identification while administering medication, procedure etc.
Maintain hand hygiene and infection control documents.
Perform the procedure of Time Out.
Assist the radiologist in administration of contrast and to recognize the side effect.
Competent to demonstrate cardio-pulmonary resuscitation technique.
Monitor hospital environment for compliance with Infection Control policy and procedures.
Appropriate usage of radiation protection.
To follow appropriate international guidelines, DHA regulations & Joint Commission International norms while treating or managing patients as well as while discharging their professional duties.

Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing.
Current licensure in country of origin and with DHA license to practice Dubai, UAE.
Minimum 2 years nursing experience after qualification.
BLS provider.
Good English spoken & written, Arabic language advantageous/desirable, but not essential.
