• Ensure revalidation is managed in a timely manner.

• Ensure timely expert advice or senior nursing support is sought when a patient's condition fails to respond to prescribed treatment.
• Manage a deteriorating patient without delay, using the EWS 2 escalation process and emergency algorithm.

Infection Prevention and Control: IPC is everyone's responsibility. All staff are required to read and implement the NMC IPC Policy and Strategy in an effort to maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness at all times, thus reducing the risk of infection in patients, staff and visitors. The strictest hand hygiene, 5 moments of hand hygiene, bare below the elbows and environmental care, will be expected of all staff, including the post holder, at all times.

• Have an appropriate license to work as a nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority (DoH, DHA, Moh) with all the qualification and experience these mandates.
• Manage their own professional revalidation.
• Have basic life support qualification (within past 24 months)
• Have Advanced life support qualification (within past 24 months)
• Have an active interest in the clinical field in which they are employed.
• Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written)
