Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse for Home Care to join one of our clients based in Al Ain. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, assisting with both short-term and long-term care plans. This role involves the coordination of patient assessments, treatment administration, and support to ensure patients receive the best care possible in a home environment.Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Health Assessments: Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions and develop care plans in consultation with physicians.
Treatment Management: Monitor and manage patient treatments and therapies, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatment regimens.
Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, medication usage, and post-treatment care to improve health outcomes.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting care provided, patient progress, and any changes in health status.
Emergency Care: Respond promptly to emergency medical situations and provide first aid or CPR when required.
Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, physical therapists, and social workers, to provide coordinated care.
Monitoring & Reporting: Report changes in patient conditions to the physician and adjust care plans as needed.
Compliance: Ensure that all nursing practices are in compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
Family Support: Provide support to families of patients, including guidance on caregiving and addressing any concerns related to the patientxe2x80x99s care.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Current and valid nursing license in the UAE.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience, with a preference for home care or community-based nursing.
Experience in managing chronic conditions, elderly care, and post-surgical recovery is a plus.
Skills:
Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
Knowledge of home healthcare procedures, including medical equipment handling.
Language: Fluency in English is required. Arabic is a plus.
