Follows and maintain policies & procedures for international patient safety goals
Carries out a full range of registered nurse duties, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient\xe2\x80\x99s condition and care.
Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly
Organizes and manages nursing activities reflecting due consideration for patients\xe2\x80\x99 needs and the needs of the facility and staff
Knowledge in medications and IV fluids and their correct administration, based on the age of the patient and patient\xe2\x80\x99s clinical condition
Monitors all patient care and treatment, maintaining high standards and quality at all times.
Carries out medical and surgical asepsis during treatments and special procedures
Communicates appropriately and clearly to the Chief Nurse, co-workers, and physicians
Demonstrates an ability to assist physicians
Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized, and function under stressful situations
Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity
Maintain good relationships with other departments, the multidisciplinary team, and visitors to the unit. Helps to achieve and maintain morale for both staff and patients.
Identify areas for self-improvement and seek actions for improvement
Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment
Be involved in any aspects of training that need to be cascaded to the whole team such as moving & handling/infection control.
Job Qualifications
HAAD License
Must have years of experience in Medical and Surgical Ward/Operation Theater in Abu Dhabi UAE
