We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a DHA license or DHA eligibility letter to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing dental procedures, assist dental professionals, and ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. This role requires strong clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental care team. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with dental professionals. Prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and informed. Monitor and record patients\' vital signs before, during, and after dental procedures. Provide postoperative care and instructions to patients and their families. Assistance During Procedures: Assist dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures. Hand instruments and materials to dental professionals as needed. Ensure that all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and prepared for use. Medical Record Management: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Document all care and procedures provided to patients in electronic health records (EHR). Patient Education: Educate patients on oral health, postoperative care, and preventive measures. Provide information on medications, potential side effects, and proper usage. Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate first aid or life support measures. Assist in managing patient pain and anxiety during dental procedures. Coordination of Care: Collaborate with dental and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists as needed. Infection Control and Safety: Implement and adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff by following clinic policies. Inventory and Supplies Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of medical supplies and medications. Order and restock supplies as needed to ensure the clinic is well-equipped. Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
