1.1. Perform and ensure all clinical processes, policies and standards of care are carried out and delivered towards patients through collaborative efforts with the whole Nursing, Rehabilitation and other disciplines pertaining to management, care and patients safety. 1.2. Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process within established homecare, divisional and unit specific policies and procedures, standards, protocol. 1.3. Establishes priorities of care, nursing actions and desired outcome in clinical care for all patients. 1.4. Works within the policy of homecare to deliver the mission, vision and core values of the organization. 1.5. Assumes responsibility in delivering quality, nursing care and advocacy for patients welfare through demonstration of evidence-based practice. 1.6. Performs nursing duties within clinical scope of practice and professional code of conduct as directed by Nursing Administration, DHA PQR and UAE Nursing Norms. 1.7. Provide care through demonstration of appropriate knowledge and clinical assessment skills relevant to Homecare and performs their roles according to best practice competency framework and professional knowledge and experience. 1.8. Demonstrate high level of infection prevention knowledge and actions in the Homecare setting and reports any issue according to PHS policy and infection framework. 1.9. Document all assessment, interventions and other necessary information in the patients medical records according to Pyramids Health Services policy and international standards of documentation. 1.10. Ensures continuity of patients care through oral and written communication to the multidisciplinary team according to the needs of the patients as well as establishing a collaborative interaction with the parents families. 1.11. Assumes personal and professional responsibility towards initial and annual completion of clinical competencies and registration license. 1.12. Demonstrate direct and appropriate action in urgent and emergency situations and demonstrate ability for decision making and leadership. 1.13. Responsible to complete tasks given by the line manager as, and when required. 1.14. Act as a role model and resources for junior staff in the delivery of PHS mission, vision and core values. 1.15. Addresses issues using a problem-solving framework, initiates the nursing or medical/administrative chain of command if unable to resolve issues satisfactorily. 1.16. Liaisons with other health care team member and departments to provide continuity of patient care outcomes. 1.17. Assumes responsibility for ensuring completion of CMEs in accordance to DOH requirements for their role. 1.18. Attends /performs educational presentations, training and seminars as required by the nursing administration. 1.19. Take up responsibility for own professional growth identifying those areas of clinical knowledge and skills that need further development. 1.20. Act as a mentor for new employees, trainers and other staffs. 1.21. Uses research/current references in the provision of evidenced based care and health teachings for parents and family. 1.22. Anticipates and acts to maintain a safe environment within patients home and surrounding places where patient is exposed. 1.23. Ensure that all practices are as per JCI standards, DOH regulations and homecare policy. 1.24. Evaluates own care those provided by others the care system and continuously seeks ways to improve clinical care and initiatives. 1.25. Participate in unit specific quality audits or improvements initiatives as well as implementation of action plans. 1.26. Participates in the Quality Programs in all collaboration with Quality Department in which he/she must be active participants of PHS committees in a position designated or elected by committee members. 1.27. Maintain own regulation in country of origin and DHA licensing. 1.28. Serves as a professional role model and resource person. 1.29. Demonstrates respect, compassion and cultural sensitivity to patients families and other hospital employees. 1.30. Demonstrates initiative in the performance of duties. 1.31. Assumes responsibility for own actions, decision and behavior while carrying out assigned tasks, course duration and successful completion of National exam: DHA.
