Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist orthodontists during dental procedures and treatments.
• Prepare patients for orthodontic appointments and treatments, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Take dental impressions, X-rays, and photographs as needed.
• Educate patients on proper orthodontic care and hygiene techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment.
• Manage inventory and supplies related to orthodontic procedures.

Requirements:

• Certified Dental Nurse with orthodontic experience.
• Proficiency in taking dental impressions, X-rays, and other orthodontic procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and dental team members.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in orthodontics or dental radiography.
• Experience working in a dental practice specializing in orthodontics.
