:Your Responsibilities:
As a Resident Nurse, Operation Theatre, your typical day may include the following:
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide surgical patients with perioperative care in recovery, procedure and operating room.
\xef\x82\xb7 Stock operating rooms with sterile surgical equipment, linen and supplies.
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop and implement care plans for surgical patients.
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare patients for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting areas to be operated on.
\xef\x82\xb7 Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
\xef\x82\xb7 Apply sterile techniques in handling surgical instruments and equipment during preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative stages.
\xef\x82\xb7 Collaborate with surgical teams and other medical professionals on patient medication and post-surgery care.
\xef\x82\xb7 Awareness in specimen handling and labeling.
\xef\x82\xb7 Assist with the ordering, maintenance, and safe storage of surgical equipment and supplies.
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide patients with post -surgery care instructions and answering questions.
\xef\x82\xb7 Maintain records and documentation in patient management system such as HIS.
\xef\x82\xb7 Collaborate with surgical teams and healthcare specialist.
